Purchase returns

Article 9 of the current Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights" provides for the consumer's right to exchange a non-food product of good quality for a similar one, if the purchased product did not fit in shape, size, style, color, size, or for other reasons cannot be used for its intended purpose, if this the product has not been used and if its presentation, consumer properties, seals, labels and payment document issued by the seller along with the product are preserved.

The seller does not have the right to refuse to exchange (return) a product not included in the list if it meets all the requirements provided for in Art. 9 of the Law (the trade dress, labels, seals are preserved, there is a settlement document, etc.)

Exceptions

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a list of goods of good quality that are not subject to exchange or return (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 19, 1994 No. 172).
